Mr. Basketball was last shared between two winners in 2016, as Sam Hauser and Trevor Anderson of Stevens Point split the award. The year before that in 2015, Diamond Stone of Dominican and Henry Ellenson of Rice Lake split the title. The award, given annually since 1982, was split only one other time in 2007, between Keaton Nankivil of Madison Memorial and Scott Christopherson of Aquinas.

Momcilovic joins recent greater Milwaukee-area winners Seth Trimble of Menomonee Falls (2022) and Brandin Podziemski of St. John’s Northwestern Military Academies (2021).
